We ended up going to rama jamas. Got some pictures and hit up champions walk and the statues. Gorgeous campus. I was thoroughly impressed. Even had some friendly and knowledgeable football conversation at RJ despite my OSU sweatshirt.

I'm an 11b. Had to go to shelby for OC/T school.
Cool, that should give you a leg up in leadership development. Change sweatshirts.

Excellent choice on the itinerary,

Glad you enjoyed campus. Obviously, we hope different teams win, but I’m sure we both want a clean game with nobody hurt.

Raise a glass to a 2021 when we can actually do that again.

City Cafe tastes like it's straight out of the can. If you want good country cooking go to The Waysider. It's much better.

That’s my biggest issue with “down home cooking” joints. I’ve never found one that tastes any different.

Granted I’ve never been to city cafe but it’s mostly because I’ve never been to a good restaurant that serves that type of food

City Cafe only rates high as a nostalgia trip, though I do enjoy it occasionally. Rama Jama wasn't even on the map back when I went to Bama, so I've never bothered to go there. What do they serve? Eh, probably too crowded for me anyway.

Make mine Avenue Pub. I'd eat there 3 times a day if they'd let me.

City Cafe's quality has gone down considerably over the last 10-15 years. Before that, it was like eating @ your MeMaw's.

I prefer Southland Restaurant at the Y in Cottondale now.

I really never have liked the hyped up places in T-town because folks make them out to be the best places in the state. I often found the places that no one talks about tend to be better. There is this one pizza place on the strip that charges a lot for a pie but I found it to be good. But not many people talk about it. Most folks I see go for the name brand stuff and don’t venture out too much. Like many love willhagens but I never liked it.
