Well, that was ugly. We load the bases with 1 out, then BC gets consecutive strike-outs to get out of it. We could have really blown it open there. 6-0 BAMA, going to the bottom of the 5th.

Going to the bottom of the 6th, still 6-0 BAMA. We've left 11 on base so far. It would sure be nice to get a couple of more timely hits.

Still 6-0 BAMA after 7 complete. Jacob McNairy is having a great outing with 10 K's so far. I wish we would add a couple of more runs. We seem to have been on cruise control since the 3rd inning.

After BC gets 2 quick outs, BAMA loads the bases and ends up scoring 2 more. 8-0 BAMA going to the bottom of the 8th.

BAMA takes the victory 8-0 over BC and will head to face Wake Forest in the Super Regionals. Great Regional win for the Tide.

On to Winston-Salem June 9-12!

I hope we bring a little more timely hitting with us to Winston-Salem. We left 13 on a couple of games ago, and I think 12 last night. Wake Forest scored 48 runs in 3 games in their regional so I think every run will count. Hope we have a great showing vs Wake. On to Omaha!!

it will be tough…. For both Alabama and Wake Forest. This matchup should have never happened but a few people in the room wanted to reward a bunch of barn animals and sycamores.

Skenes went 8 innings and threw 120 pitches Thursday night but I'd be shocked if he isn't on the hill for LSU tomorrow. I don't know the Gators pitchers well enough to know who will get the start for them. I'm looking forward to/hoping for another good game.

CAGS will be on the mound for the gators but he hasn’t been great lately. LSU is a total unknown.

I have no idea on Skenes. I lean towards a very limited showing but sometimes a competitor like him demands the opportunity to be out there to win it. I’ll say this… if he is not out there LSU is doomed… Their bullpen is largely unreliable outside the few that they used vs Wake.
