Alot of things have gone right for Alabama in Day 1:

1) Okie St loses and will instantly have to fight out of a loser’s bracket

2) Bama crushes their #4 team

3) Florida State is facing elimination right away

4) currently Coastal Carolina is getting spanked by Northern Illinois and the Tallahassee regional will likely eliminate one of the top two seeds instantly.


Alabama really needs to win tomorrow and get the catbird seat so we don’t have to play two games with weekday starters to get out of our regional. Alabama couldn’t ask for a better day but the weekend isn’t over yet

Coastal has lost to Northern Illinois. Basically everything Alabama could have wished for happened today.

2) the #2 seed in the regional lost
3) the Paired Super regional saw both #1 and #2 lose

The Barn game ended on a pitch clock violation LOL. They were up 4 so it wasn’t really consequential but amusing nonetheless the less for those except NCST fans.

The problem is our bats have gotten cold, errors are a huge problem, and the bullpen needs 6 outs in a 3 run game. It’s a wild ride to the finish and most of it is self inflicted in what should be a blowout
