Disagree. If they let UGA score after failing on 4th down then that means the defense didn't make a stop and the game would have been over even if they punted because they were unable to make a stop. 37 yards was not that important at that point in the game.And their best chance of losing was not converting the 4th down. A one-score game in which a touchdown is required to win or tie is worse than being down by one point. UK did not score a touchdown the entire game. I'm not convinced either call would have been the wrong call.
Taking into account how it played out on those two plays doesn't really determine whether it was or was not the correct call since there is no way to know what would have happened with a different decision.
IMO there is no excuse for not going for it on 4th. The point is to win the game and going for it on 4th was easily their best chance.
