OU's defense just doesn't look good at all. The last fews weeks I've said they built their reputation by beating three decent teams without their starting QBs, and they look like it. This defense just isn't very good.

Contact before the ball gets there. In this case, the contact was created by the receiver and the ball hit the defender...

On the other hand, the defender cannot impede the route of the receiver. The defender would have to play the ball (i.e. not have his back to the ball) in this case.

They are much better against back up QBs.
