The SEC officials were correct, of course. You actually are allowed four timeouts. Pay no attention to the running clock thing.

What I'd like to know is how many "actual seconds" elapsed between the ready-for-play signal and the snap. I don't believe the clock started on the ready-for-play.

They're not even internally consistent with decisions they've made in the past in this same scenario. But of course, they were right...it took a mighty long time for them to figure out how to spin it though.

Why can't Barn fans stay out of the pasture and show CLASS after a game? I have never seen Alabama fans storm a field after a game in B-DS! Why can't Barn fans act like they've been there before?

Because when someone beats Alabama, it’s the biggest thing in their world. It is the pinnacle of achievement for the program above and beyond division, conference or national championships.

When Alabama beats someone, well, it is simply “just another Saturday in the fall”.

So, gee, you're just telling us what everybody already saw. Of course the snap was off before the clock expired - because the refs stopped the clock when they shouldn't have, then unfairly allowed Auburn to line up for the field goal before starting the clock. I guarantee you BAMA can be lined up with 1 second on the clock and get the snap off. Hey SEC, why don't you acknowledge the refs screwed up!

As I said before, this is not humanly possible. They have rewrote the rule book, because they would rather cover up their incompetence rather than be honest about their refs screwing up a game. I have absolutely zero respect for the lot of them. To think, Shaw is an Alabama grad. He shouldn't be welcome on campus again.
