whining as usual. Said he did not have anything to do with selection of new coach. But, loves him, just loves him.

Re: Pat Dye on Finebaum Now

Wishes he could take credit for it is what he said. Says that he told JJ not hire who anybody else wanted because no one was more qualified than JJ to make the hire.

"I wish I could take credit for it, but that would destroy the carefully crafted illusion that Jay Jacobs has anything even remotely resembling free will."

Re: Pat Dye on Finebaum Now

So all of these Barner problems are caused by Bama? The rumors and fighting in auburn are caused by Bama? Wow. Dye is the poster child for Barner paranoia!

Re: Pat Dye on Finebaum Now

Anyone wanting to hear it, Finebaum posts these interviews on his web site and you can go there and listen too it later tonight or tomorrow.

Ya, Bama, Saban (Sexton's fair haired child) and Sexton. Why? Money and recruiting. Anything that hurts Auburn helps alabama in recruiting. Im not believing what Dye is saying. This is just unreal.

Re: Pat Dye on Finebaum Now

"Nick is Sexton's fair haired child!" Dang!

"They're messin wiff famly".

He's speaking out of both sides of his head! I hope fbaum don't let him off the hook...

And you don't think Auburn didn't benefit from Bama being down. That is absolute crap. Auburn owes every single bit of success they have had (since 2000) to the fact that Bama has been down. Since the Barners are in absolute turmoil, hired a very unproven coach, and has lost a grip on recruiting; I guess Bama and the rest of the SEC shouldn't capitalize on this. Pat Dye is a moron, he should really consider thinking before he actually speaks. Roll Tide Roll......I hope we beat them by 5 touchdowns next year.........Oops I guess we already did that this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:BigA:

Re: Pat Dye on Finebaum Now

Just another lying Barner, and he has the audacity to say CNS has orchestrated the Barner situation with Jimmy Sexton...what kind of drugs do you have to be on to be a part of the "Auburn Family".

Just shows how far down the ladder the Barner program has fallen.

Here's to wishing them what they deserve "Failure"

Re: Pat Dye on Finebaum Now

BAMA was down because of the Corky Frost crap! They stumble on the Langham mishap looking at the Jelks made-up crap! Frost put BAMA on the NCAA's radar.

Of course we benefit from anything that hurts them, DUH!!!

Have they NOT benefited from debacle? PULEEEEEZE

Re: Pat Dye on Finebaum Now

Does he really believe coaches are stirring up rumors about who the Asst Coaches are going to be, just to cause controversy at AU?

Oh yea, just found a picture of Pat Dye in studio with Finebaum

Re: Pat Dye on Finebaum Now

It must really burn to know that, and deep down they know, that they did all of this stuff to themselves. They certainly gained ground in the state while we were down, but they jumped off the cliff ALL BY THEMSELVES.

 Carry on.

Re: Pat Dye on Finebaum Now

The good ole boy network at Auburn is back in charge and Pat Dye is one of the leaders. Last year Dye was on Finebaum bragging about how great Tony Franklin's offense will be but where is Franklin now? Where is Auburn now? Why should anyone believe that he knows what he is talking about now? Pat Dye and Auburn have lost their minds. Who would have thought that it would take Nick Saban just two years to cause the "Auburn Family" to go insane? They have all gone crazy in east central Alabama. The situation at Auburn is worse than any of their fans realize. The Barfield era may look good compared to where they are headed.

Re: Pat Dye on Finebaum Now

Let them believe what they want. While they accuse saban of all this crap, he's out on the recruiting trail kicking their tails.

Paranioia nver helped land a blue chip recruit, but it may run some away!!
