Our 2 Cairns, Daisy (age 3) on the left, and Titan (now deceased @ 15 yrs old). Had 2 previous that lived 15 years each.

Mack was 1 yesterday...we will have him for about 5-6 more months and then he will go on to guide dog university. He's embedded deep in our hearts, but knowing he will provide a better life for someone else will make the parting easier...

The Lord bless you for that kind of ministering, Bob. Can't be easy to invest in a pup like that and then send them off, even as worthy a cause as it is. Hats off to you and the Mrs for doing that.

Friend of mine lost her Cattledog and got these from Chewy. That was really nice of them....

Those who know me know I don’t do pets. Friends who are pet people tell me that Dante has written my name in one of his circles. Some might say it all goes back to childhood pet trauma

HOWEVER, during the middle of the summer we gave in to my girls’ long desire to get guinea pigs. They did a presentation to us about why getting them would be a good thing and we were sold on their logic and now we have guinea pigs. They are strange creatures.

Guinea pigs make good pets from what I hear, with a few caveats. Don't expose your neck to one, or turn your back on one, or sleep behind an unlocked door. Otherwise, no problems.

We rescued these brothers from a litter up at my father-in-law’s farm a few years ago...
