10:30pm CT strikes me as awfully late for a press conference. Probably past Frank Broyles' bedtime. You'd think they'd do it in the morning so as to assemble more fans, the statewide press, etc. Maybe they want to get it done before Bobby changes his mind, or to allow him to get his side of the story out before the papers hit tomorrow. I guess doing it tonight makes the morning stories more about Arkansas and less about the Falcons.

From the sound of things he better get out of town quick! The Falcons players are ready to skin his rear and i dont blame them. Lets hope the media will too.

Many reasons why I love this hire:

1. "Oh, if Tubby leaves we'll get Petrino." :hurray:
2. He'll be, at best, the fourth best coach in the league (Saban, Meyer, Richt, Spurrier maybe)
3. If they are actually a threat, we can count on an early matchup to help determine the SEC West.
4. They might actually beat up a few teams (Awbie, esp.) before we get to them.
5. He'll likely be able to draw a few recruits away from LSU, Tenn, etc. I don't see it affecting us a ton.
6. He'll have to hire a DC, and a darn good one at that. Can he get one?
7. We have Nick Saban.

Wants to run an aggressive offense balanced attack. And the Arkansas crowd it excited about throwing the ball.

I have to laugh at Petrino talking about Defense.

He wants to hit the QB.

Didn't say anything specific mostly coach speak.

Oh wow he actually did the "calling of the hogs" very awkward i'm sure.

Way to make your fan base look like a bunch of rednecks.

As awkward is to have a press conference at 10:30 P.M. with a coach who was coaching his team less than 24 hours previously on Monday night football. Calling the pigs with the whole family was even stranger.
