Still remember watching her on the Porter Wagoner show with my parents as a kid.
She is also an astute business person...managed to get herself separated from Porter Wagoner's control and has built a multimillion dollar empire. Net worth is around $400 million...

She wanted to build a theme park in Nashville...but realized who actually runs the place..and backed off.
I know that she makes certain that Dollywood hiring is preferential to folks who are raised in that area if qualifications are there. Gotta respect that. I believe that has been essential to her success there. Not a fan at all of that venue but it serves the area very well.
