Picked up plant material this afternoon for a small job I'm doing. This is one of the closer wholesale nurseries to me. As someone who started his green career off as a grower, I always enjoy seeing row after row after row of cultivated ornamentals - just waiting for their turn on the big stage......

Was at Mom's today. Dropped off provisions and we shared some take out Tacos. She had some old photos including this one taken at the second place of employment for me after graduating from college.

It was my second gig as a foliage grower.

My first job was at a mom and pop place in Lake Jem where I was the guy.

This place, in Apopka, was a much much larger operation where I was the head grower - overseeing 5 growers.

I also had a part time evening job at the Mt. Dora Cumberland Farms store as clerk.

10 months after graduating - got the world by it's tail!
