We started right after opening game last year making plans for the MTSU game this year. We got a motel in Northport and tickets from the ticket agent that advertises here on Tidefans. We are all set. Can't wait.
Last year we visited friends and never really ate that much in local places. We did visit Cotton Patch, a place on the river close to Indian Hills (can't remember the name but it was very nice) and Dreamland. I remember when we lived there 1967-77 eating at a place called Horne's Barbeque. Is it still there?
The other day someone mentioned City Cafe. Is it a good place to eat? Are there other places we might not know about? We moved out of Northport in 1977, so I am sure a lot of good eateries have been added since then.
Any suggestions, including places to avoid?
Many thanks from a rabid Bama fan in North Carolina.
