watching the game alone. my only friend that also watches football (the rest don't) married a barner. i will be eating something i can cook with one hand.

New York strips with baked potatoes. Watching the game and seeing how long before the wife has to go to the bedroom because of my enthusiasm.

7 mile run with my wife in the morning, then college football with the extended family for the rest of the day.

Having our best friends over. New bottle of Hendricks gin (shaken with ice, then straight up with an olive). Searing filets around 5:30 and making some bernaise, a specialty. A nice cab or zin. Settling in on the couches in the man cave for Bama on the big TV and Clemson on the right. Left TV TBA.

Bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeno peppers and a small pork loin roast on the grill. And a large pitcher of Milo's ice tea. I'm an old dog. I learned years ago that the next day always seemed better when I "stayed on the porch" the night before.
