Playboy Bama Pre-season All-Americans 1960-2005

Playboy picked some good ones and maybe some that didn't turn out to be All-Americans. In their defense, who really knows who shines and who doesn't pre-season.

Big ones they missed from Bama; Neighbors, Alexander, Samuels, Ozzie, John Hannah...

What has stuck out in my mind is the numbers on the sleeves of the jerseys in the 60’s.
Ole Miss had a few boys from them vaught teams of the 60’s and even state snuck one or two in there.
What has really got me laughing though is that the picture from 1969 shows a little john riggins from Kansas, dude he was huge when he played for the NFL Redskins.
Also I though that Copeland and Curry made the playboy team one year,
Am I wrong or did you not find a picture?
Didn’t a couple of Alabama players turn down the Playboy team on Religious grounds?

Looking at those photos makes me mad at seeing Freddie Milons and what Dubose did too a player that had All-American written all over him. He never regrouped after that terrible year. I feel sorry for the kid!!!
