I remember back in 2023 after the USF game there was a player only meeting and the team did well after that. I can't remember if there were any such meetings last season. We won't know much after Saturday because we should win if we show up. We'll have to wait for Wisconsin to tell if it helped.

I guess if this meeting didn’t consist of yelling, holding people accountable, and things on the verge of getting physical, there’s probably not much to be gained from it. Too much talk comes out that locker room, it’s bout time somebody showed it.

Maybe they used the meeting to refocus and come together with a Build-A-Bear event.

There has been something wrong for the past 3-4 yrs and it feels like every yr it gets worse. I used to see a willingness not just to make a tackle, but to punish the opponent. I don't see that any more. Plus the penalty situation has been out of control for years as well. Not sure how all that gets fixed in a meeting, but it would be nice to see a shift in attitude and accountability going forward.
