People have gone nuts with all the scents. Cologne, perfume, extra heavy smells in the laundry, candles, plug in’s, etc. Some folks have breathing issues and this stuff strangles them. I’m sitting in a waiting area at an Dr and some guy comes in having put on WAAAY too much. There’s not exactly a place to go to get away. There’s actually some type of ladies perfume that if I get near it I feel like I’m having the air sucked out of my lungs and cannot get a breath of air. I’ve passed people with it on in a store and have literally ran to get out of the fog, then still smelled it two aisles over. Folks, if you’re gonna wear it, go easy with it. If you want to smell it yourself, rub it under your nose.

I agree 1000%

Other than the fact that it is just obnoxious, not everyone who is subjected to it likes overwhelming scents. My wife sometimes gets an immediate headache when she experiences perfume or cologne that has been applied to the excess.

there are women that put on this stuff and then go to the trails. Seriously? You are going to a place to get hot and sweaty and you splash a ton of this stuff on where I can still smell it 20 minutes after you walked by me?

asthma has nothing to do with weight. skinny people can have asthma too.
I’ve had asthma all my life and weight does play a role. Anytime I get above 200lbs my asthma gets magnitudes worse. I’ve found that if I stay between 170-180lbs my asthma is almost nonexistent. To the point I don’t have to take a daily medication and only use a rescue inhaler when needed.

I'd rather sit beside someone with cologne than heavy bad Body Odor like you are in a locker room. Americans can help get rid of Asthma by losing some weight. Just my Opinion.
I would venture to say that too much perfume/cologne is equally as bad as "heavy bad body odor." There is no legitimate reason for either.

Years ago I was working at a fitness center. A guy came in and walked all the way to the back of the gym and left an extremely horrible body odor trail throughout the facility. My boss went and bought some aerosol air freshener and it took two full cans to just begin to neutralize the smell.

You're not telling me anything I don't know! I remember in HS after away football games riding on the bus and their was no shower in the locker rooms. Also as a Basketball coach!

AXE body spray is the biggest culprit

AXE is awful!!!
As I mentioned, it’s not just the cologne/perfume it’s also those beads people put in their laundry. I know a person whose wife uses them and he walked into a room I was in. I was a few feet from the door with my back turned and knew who it was from the smell that came in first.
To be honest, I don’t understand why everything has to have an unnatural smell to it.

When I was still designing schools, I worked on a renovation of a football locker room. The B.O. had seeped into the carpet, ceiling tile, and walls. Opening the door was like getting punched in the face. First of all who the hell puts carpet in a lockrroom? Also, why the first designers didn’t use washable ceiling tile is perplexing. Also, also why wasn't it vented properly?
