What is it about being a public servant that makes people so stupid?
School Calls Cops on 12-Year-Old Boy Who Held Toy Gun During Zoom Class
Isaiah's green plastic nerf pistol says, "Zombie hunter" on the side. (Might give a clue to how real it is)
Maybe, if the teacher was concerned Isaiah had a real gun, she should ask him to go get his mom and then ask mom if she knew about the gun and and whether the gun was a nerf gun or a real gun.
Nope. Call the cops.
Then, when it all appears to be stupid, the principal doubles down and Isaiah gets suspended for bringing a nerf pistol to "school" when "school" is in his bedroom because the school is closed due to Covid. Isaiah get suspended for five days. In a statement, the district explained that all school board policies would be enforced regardless of whether "we are in-person learning or distance learning." Yes, because rational thought is hard.
If you would like people to take you seriously, you should probably have a serious policy.
