As us Alabamians found out… it doesn’t matter what a candidate says if he is a popular icon. People are still going to vote for their “heroes”. Tubberville probably said some of the dumbest things imaginable and still kicked Doug Jones to the curb. Plus Stacey is giving the Republicans enough sound bytes to convince everyone in the state that she hates Georgia and Atlanta businesses.
