Serious questions:

Are all comments - no matter the content - off limits in these threads or just anything that could be construed as "fact-checking"?

Can a response come not in the form of a question like Jeopardy but in the form of a meme/cartoon/joke and be OK?

I'm not arguing the point.

I'm trying to understand the boundaries and I think it fair that those are made clear since this has never been at issue in the past 21 iterations of these threads.

Historically there’s been no need to ask people not to turn pages of this thread into discussions, but as is par for the course in modern politics, everything seemingly has to be ‘corrected’ or ‘explained’ now.

So comments are fine - hence none have been deleted in this thread - but please note that a vast majority of things posted in this thread are options and exaggerations - from both sides of the aisle.

It’s just a thread to post funny or provocative political memes and jokes. If there’s an urge to clarify, let’s keep it brief or, as recommended, start a parallel meme thread where a copy-n paste response and long form discussion is more appropriate.

I do not agree with the assertion about discussions. These threads have gone back for at least 8 years now and discussion was always a part of them, including fact checking (link for an early example in 2016, not picking on TW, just the first example I came across).
