Will Trump’s new bathroom in the East Wing have a better golden toilet?

Hunter Biden is having a great time right now. Thanks to Trump, cocaine prices are down across the US.

The Wall Street Journal reported that President Trump has been committing so much manpower to fight dual wars on fentanyl and immigration that he’s opened up a new and fruitful hole in the drug trafficking ecosystem, which Mexican cocaine trafficker Nemesio “Mencho” Oseguera and his Jalisco cartel have filled with record amounts of cocaine in the United States—and at a new low cost.

A lot of Memphians are very happy with the improvement. Still a LONG way to go but this is a nice reprieve for the good people of Memphis.

So what do you think these folks will do once they can't get a good job when they get out of jail?

Just because they threw a bunch of citizens in jail, doesn't mean they fixed the problem that created the crime in the first place. How many times does the GOP use the wrong tool to temporarily reduce a problem only to see the root cause remain and the problem come back even worse than before. Poverty and lack of resources are some of the main problems which cause crime. Throwing military at the problem only exacerbates these issues. But, sure, claim victory using long guns and arrests. Our incarceration system will only kick these folks back out onto the street soon for them to be further marginalized and without legal access to living wage work.

So much winning! TBH, I've never really cared too much about the drug "problem" in the U.S. The war on drugs has been 10x more devastating than the drugs themselves.

I'm guessing you've not read my multiple posts on this forum about this issue.

To summarize, I'm 100% aware that the fundamental issues that have caused this radical decline in Memphis are beyond simple law enforcement - lack of education, lack of opportunity, broken culture, racism, and widespread local government corruption have all contributed to the issue, and I've repeatedly acknowledged that.

But I (nor the good people of Memphis) largely don't care that this is a temporary fix - if you're in constant pain, you welcome any relief, even if you know it's temporary.

There's an entire generation of Memphians that we've essentially lost at this point. Some can be helped, built-up, and can become good citizens, but many cannot or will not. And they're having babies now and raising them the same way they were raised. Fixing Memphis will take years (likely a decade or more) of constant, focused effort as getting to this point took several decades of neglect.

But that doesn't for one second mean the good people of Memphis don't deserve any break they can get.

You do realize the current first lady is a gold digging/adulterer/marriage breaker who's also been cheated on as well, right? :)

The meme wasn't a comparison of first ladies......nor a condemnation of Hillary.

It was specific to the construction project currently underway at the White House - with Hillary (whose husband Bill Clinton had sex in the Oval Office with a White House Intern during his term) - making comments on Social Media about the "virtues" or "sanctity" of the White House.

That was the theme of that meme....Hillary......husband Bill.......Oval Office.........and her saying "how could someone do this to the people's house".....

Donald and Melania at the White House doesn't factor into it at all......
