If an airline recruits minority and women candidates they are (and were in this thread) accused of lowering standards. Of course, this is completely without evidence or basis in truth since those candidates are held to the same exact standard as anyone else.
Are there people of good faith using DEI with intent they consider well meaning?
Sure.
But even you have to admit it has morphed into just another way of saying some people
have to be less qualified, at least in the way that a large number of people are using it.
