They are already sold out through the NCAA. As soon as Alabama is officially announced there, the secondary market ticket prices will be insane.

Best team? Probably so based on depth of talent. This team will have its opportunity to to cement that tag if the end result is making it to the final four and hopefully beyond.

The way it works now, if we are a 1 seed, regardless of region, our first round games will be in Birmingham. After the first two rounds, here are the following locations:

East: New York
West: Las Vegas
Midwest: Kansas City
South: Louisville

If something where to happen and we drop to a 3 seed (I just don't see us going on a losing streak with this team)

Other potential first round sites for us would likely be Orlando, Greensboro, or maybe Columbus. But, if we stay as a 1 or 2 seed, we will be playing in Bham. A 3 seed might even keep us in Bham.

True ... the Alabama draw alone would make the Birmingham stop one of the more successful cities hosting tournaments. Same with why they are banking on Houston this year as well.
