God help you. I didn't think anyone could defend that loon with a straight face and you've managed to do it and make false equivalence to other appointments.
But if you think the goal of big pharma is to keep everyone sick, I can't get through that conspiracy thinking.

Do I put much of anything past them? Not much.
In most cases we don't know how to fix people but we often know how to keep them alive and more healthy if they'll listen and follow directions.
And there are some promising medications being developed to treat, cure, and possibly prevent many diseases.

I worry about our progress. Compared to the beginning of my career when pretty much everyone with stage 4 cancer died, with exceptions, we now have a growing number who do well for years and may be cured. We need a functional NIH pushing these treatments and science forward. Not running studies of acupuncture vs. reiki when we know both are pseudoscience.
Agreed 100%. We spend enough money on alternative/complementary treatments, for the most part. (with perhaps the exception of cannabis, which past studies were only aimed at proving it did bad things)
Legitimizing anti-vax nuttery and anti-science BS will not make this country better off in health. It will be detrimental.

TikTok served me an RFK town hall. He spent 10 minutes talking about vaccines, implied they cause autism; then said that he wasn't anti-vax, just anti- all vaccines we currently have, and says as POTUS he'd stop research on drug development and infectious diseases for 8 years.

Bergum seems like a decent pick, relatively. Not wild about some of his stances, but wrt Interior concerns, I'm not overly troubled. Pro fossil fuels, but also acknowledges global warming issues.
