For months and months, the price of eggs was soaring. Now, it's going splat.

Today at our local Wawa. Got 8 gallons of Non-ethanol for my power equipment plus filled up the Silverado with 87 octane.

Gas still high. Now keep in mind my car requires premium gas, so I won't really notice "cheaper" gas.

Does it require premium or recommend it? You should have bought a Kia Soul. Hot chicks would have appreciated your practicality.

Gas here jumped up to $3.39 almost overnight.

$3.54 in our small town. I usually fill up at a Murphy’s. I get an extra $0.05 per gallon off. I think it was $3.29 late last week in a near by town. Make a difference in my F150.

3.339 in Charleston, SC @ Costco. Minus 4% rebate for using Costco card -- 13.5 cents = @ 3.21. Up over the last few months, but not bad considering other places.

Like I said - ran errands tonight up in Port Orange and stopped to fill up the Volvo at the Murphy before heading home.

Pretty empty that time of night so I'm filling away minding my own business as usual and the kid who works there comes out rolling a trash can to dump and as he goes by my Volvo he says "NICE VOLVO!" and gives me a thumbs up. He's gotta be in his early 20's.

On his way back we have a brief chat. I open up the back hatch so he gets what I call the "money shot"....the cavernous interior of these wagons...lol....

Then I say - "Open up and peek inside" motioning to the passenger door. He asks "It's a stick?" I reply "Just take a look." He just shakes his head....lol. Says "Hey if you ever want to sell her - I'll be right here!"

Told me he bought a $30K Kia - stick shift too!

Kids...... 🤷‍♂️

My daughter and husband had that model in Germany. They traveled to Stockholm to pick it up. It was larger than any of the other cars we encountered. It had a large backup screen, unlike my Taco, which has a useless little postage stamp in the bottom left corner of the rearview mirror...

It’s under 3 at several stations around here. And look at the price of a barrel of crude. Total disconnect.
