Project 2025: Trump's and MAGA's White Christian Nationalist Plan for the US

  • Emphasis!

they have an entire media system dedicated to keeping them terrified. Works great, my mom has several 80+ year olds in her community that have never in their lives even been close to a violent crime that carry handguns because of how scared they always are. Who wants to live like that?

From the border, to gay and trans people, to minorities displacing whites, and so on and on... Rs have been irrationally and/or with hateful rhetoric fearmongering for decades.

So calling attention to conservative plans is fearmongering? Make it make sense.

Project 2025 uses fearmongering.

Calling out their plans based on fearmongering, in part, is not fearmongering.

So what is fearmongering about it, specifically? How so?

Doesn't mean 1 thing except people are making money off this fearmongering....that's it.

Why do you think people send money into their political parties in the first place?

It's a money grab.

I've said this before......politics is an INDUSTRY. Once you look at it that way - everything makes a whole lot more sense!

So, what specifically is fearmongering about calling attention to their plans?

By definition:
the action of deliberately arousing public fear or alarm about a particular issue.

Same about that stupid theory of Democrats trying to replace conservative voters through illegal immigration......just dumb fear mongering......stuff that will never happen. But the pundits.....you know......like I said......the ones making money off political division......they're happy with it all...;)

Sorry...I won't participate.

Feel free to continue....free speech after all......

So you are equating calling attention to conservative plans to conservative fearmongering like illegal immigration. You specify voter replacement, but don't mention the fearmongering on crime, either overall or in relation to immigration.

IMHO, Cambridge has a better definition:

the action of intentionally trying to make people afraid of something when this is not necessary or reasonable

If you declare everything that might induce fear as fearmongering, even when concern is reasonable and/or necessary, it cheapens the meaning of the word into something completely meaningless.

Maybe that's the intent, after all.

What all of this has done is drive a wedge between people. And It's much greater and more serious than the majority acknowledges. It all started to go downhill with Clinton's deplorable comments and has snowballed ever sense. It appears neither side is going to give any, or even be reasonable. Guess we will just have to see how this plays out. Sad times ahead for America.
