Additions: Was told today that WR Amari Jefferson would be available, although he hasn't played yet at Bama. EDIT: Now hearing he won't play, sheez.

Mbakwe is apparently working at offense and defense both in practice.

That means Alabama will have 6* guys on scholarship at receiver, which should be enough.

*=if Jefferson plays. If not, we'll go with 5 or use a walk-on.

Impossible to keep track of all this roster insanity.

What about freshman WR, Bubba Hampton?

Per AL.com post just in, here is their reporting:
--" Kadyn Proctor, who spent the observable portions of Friday’s practice riding a stationary bike, was back in action with the first-team offense. Proctor was fully dressed, and was not wearing a black jersey, which signifies a non-contact participant in practice.

Proctor spent all of the media viewing period of practice Friday in Tampa on or near the stationary bike. That’s what the injured players such as Keon Sabb and others were doing during practice too. But those players were in t-shirts and shorts. Proctor was wearing his jersey. Then, during the media viewing period Saturday, Proctor was going through offensive line drills with the rest of his teammates."

Perhaps Proctor is staying in shape as a worst-case solution only if needed, or perhaps as a controlled pitch count situation. Either way it's impressive he's trying to contribute despite his injury.

Great news. Big lift for locker room as well. Meanwhile UM is hurting at LT with starter Hinton and 2nd team Bounds out. Likely starter is converted TE Persi; hurt recently and mostly used on Special Teams duty. Let's see Overton and Latham have some serious success on that side. RTR
