QB Chad Kelly committed to Clemson

I don't know. He mis-spelled "thee", but we are "The" Alabama University, aren't we. Is there any other? LOL, he's not headed to the University of Auburn. :tongue:
 
Kelly was visiting T-Town today. He will be at Clemson tomorrow and on Wednesday for a camp. He will announce on Thursday most likely choosing Clemson.

EDIT: I'm a little confused on whether or not he will be here tomorrow. Some older articles say he planned on visiting tonight and tomorrow, but I've seen some more recent articles saying he will be at Clemson tomorrow. Surely, he wouldn't come all the way to UA to visit for just one night.

The latest is that Kelly will announce his commitment on Thursday, Jun. 16th at 5:15 p.m. He list his favorites as Bama, Buffalo, Clemson, FSU, Michigan State, Purdue and Syracuse. I expect he will be choosing Clemson but that is just a hunch. I don't have anything solid to go on.

I have heard he will be picking between Clemson, Bama, and FSU. Nevertheless, I still expect him to pick Clemson.
 
I still think that Kelly will choose Clemson and if not them then FSU. BR thinks Kelly is a Bama lean.

Like all top prospects, many top schools have gone after him, but some of the schools that insiders say are in the mix with Alabama at his top tier are Clemson and Florida State. Syracuse has also been mentioned, but not as much as the others.

Kelly is scheduled to announce his decision at his school on Thursday at 5:15 p.m. He recently listed Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, Michigan State, Purdue, Syracuse and his hometown Buffalo as his top schools, but friends and insiders have said he's been a Crimson Tide lean since his last visit.

Yahoo already has him committed to Clemson. Not sure if I missed anything but I wanted to check to see if he committed yet or not and they have his verbal to Clemson....
