no clue where the kid's headed, but if he spurns both Oklahoma and us for Indiana, then you know we'll never hear the end of this one from the rivals. This one will sting.
I understand having family on the team is a plus but if you compete in the same position against your older brother I don't see that being an advantage. Doubt it's happening

Arie and Cyrus?
They are not competing for the same OT spot. Cyrus is a true LT. Arie is a OG or RT. They were both made aware of that during their recruitment.
I don't care if I hear it from AUBARN, if we beat them by 30 this year, and follow that up with a National Title, all we will have to say is 14. Even if we fall a little short of that 14, 13 still sounds better than DOS!
??? why????
If Kiel wants to stay close to home (sounds like he wants to be somewhat close), I understand the decision. Add the fact that his brother is on the team; I can see it. In 2010, BYU got the nation's top QB. Does that make sense to you? Doesn't to me, but he made the decision he felt was best. It doesn't make sense to us as fans, but players make the one they want to make, whether it makes sense or not.top QB in the nation...going to Indiana...yes INDIANA...over Oklahoma AND Bama...what's not there to understand about how that would sting??
and from the sounds of it, we might be starting to trail with Winston, too. of course it's going to sting.

Re: Winston. Where are you hearing that? Last I saw we were ok with him.
oh i understand that if it's the best decision for him and his family then i would have no problem at all with his choice. i'm just saying that having Indiana steal away the top QB from us and Oklahoma would hurt a little bit. one player doesn't make or break this class, but having him on board would certainly be a big time get.
I had seen the Winston comment on ESPN a week or so back on the 'Rumors' section. Could be just that, but i just made a mental note of it.
