I just hope we can get some decent players this class. I'm not sure we are going to be able to get too many good ones.

I'm with RTR. If we can just get a couple good ones maybe we can start competing in the SEC west again.

I'd love to see Gunner commit to us in a month and then everyone assumes that Winston won't come but maybe we could still land Lambert. How great would that be if we could land DGB after just losing Julio. That would be awesome

I agree, it looks like Gardner may be in the top three now. We will know for sure after he visits Bama soon for the upcoming camp.

Gunner is an unusual kid in that he's really kept it close to the vest. He would be a GIGANTIC pick up. Now, if we could pull the hat trick and pick up DBG AND Duron Neal.

He has been to Tuscaloosa at least 3 times and 2 in the past month or so. His mom came the last time to check the Academics and the support system for the players. They also went to see the devastation from the tornado.

yeah considering his recent visit and a commitment date on the 12th I'd be surprised if he doesn't pick bama, but ive been surprised before.

He won't be doing any visits between now and the 12th due to 7 on 7 team practices but I still feel pretty confident in hearing him name UA as his pick

Looks like a decision will come sometime next week for Kiel. Anywhere other than 'Bama or OU would be a surprise, but anything can happen in recruiting. I'm sure we'll try to get him in town for another visit before he announces, but whether or not we can actually line that up I don't know.

Either way, going to be a big decision for all parties involved. Beating out OU won't be easy, that's for sure. If we can do it, though, he's a guy who can define a class coming in early.
