Re: Is it really the wind?

I would have to agree. I was a little too optimistic after the Hog game. Just wish JPW was more consistent and wouldn't fixate on just one receiver so everyone in the stadium knew where he was throwing it.

Re: Is it really the wind?

Well, the Arksansas game was, however, the proof that he could do it. I think it's just mechanics. He has the ability, we've seen it. He just needs to let his teachin' take.

Re: Is it really the wind?

With all respect, dropped balls aren't helping. I'd say the offense as a whole has given up and I'd even look for another sack. DJ was even just running a route blind earlier.

Re: Sick at my Stomach

Good coverage, dropped balls, bad passes. Being overthrown say....5 times, doesn't make up for every OTHER busted offensive play. And JPW is obviously frustrated.

Re: Is it really the wind?

I know the question has been out there as to whether or not Star can compete for the QB position next year? I think anybody who has watched the last couple games would say he is definitely in the running.

Re: Sick at my Stomach

I thought once we got the "Sabanator" we wouldn't have the problem of wanting it less than the other team?

Re: Sick at my Stomach

I really just can't believe it's a matter of wanting it or not. For example, the reason UGA won in overtime was because our corner or safety whichever, got beat on a coverage. We hung in there with a team with better players.

FSU is the same. JPW wasn't up to snuff, we had dropped balls, etc. etc. etc. C'mon now, gotta cover the whole spectrum of competition. Physical and mental.

Re: Is it really the wind?

i wish this was the last game of the season. this has been beyond tough; to watch. if jpw is the "best" we have; that is really scary. i am a mcelroy fan (for obvious reasons..i like southlake carroll)....and if he isnt going to get any playing time here; i wish he would transfer to another school. also, i have been a bam fan since like 1981; why cant bama ever get a "great" qb? we have had decent qb's but never great a great one. qb is killing us this year; and i dont see us beating any other decent teams this year w/ jpw at qb...i hope i'm wrong, but i have no confidence in his ability any more.
