Designed runs and limited route trees is one way. Another way is an emphasis on RUNNING THE FLIPPING FOOTBALL.
I think that our receivers and especially running backs are much better than their numbers indicate. I also think that the OL is very good but again, opposing defenses can jam the line of scrimage and dare Milroe to pass.. They don't seem to think that Milroe can burn them with short or medium range quick passes. Are they correct?
I think that it is time for Simpson but this is just my opinion as a fan, not an all knowing proclamation.
