Someone like Cam Newton’s dad?
No, the Rogers guy, who was a business partner of Bo Jackson, was the agent. Bo Jackson paid for $cam Knewton. The NCAA couldn’t stomach the fact that one of the all-time greats would have been involved. How many times since 2010 have you seen Bo on the sideline at au? You haven’t. Just wanted to leave that. In hindsight, the way things are now, he was woefully underpaid. lol 😂

If he is the generational QB that all the scouts kept saying, why wouldn't he stick it out more than 1 year? OSU now lost Miller and Ewers.

Because he wants to play now and Stroud is the clear starter for at least another year

We sure seem to be having a lot of 'generational QBs' lately. It's almost as if the media throws terms around that sound great but lose their meaning due to overuse.

Completely agree. Irritates me to no end.

You can't have more than one "generational" QB at the same time by definition. They are literally of the same generation.

It's become this meaningless buzzword the talking heads throw around in their echo chambers, because we can only have so many "who is the GOAT?" nonsensical pieces.

They definitely do but I think QB play is improving in all levels of football. This year is slightly down in college but I'd be surprised if it stays there.

It seems like there are more solid to good QBs in the NFL than we normally see.
