Read & React (SECN Show w/ Cubelic & Harper)

[4Q Basket Case]

Saw the first Read & React show on SECN last night, and really enjoyed it.

Cole Cubelic and Roman Harper go through the Xs and Os of the previous week’s games and have some good entertainment along the way. Not as geeked out as the Mannings, who are far over my head, and IMO speak primarily to active players and coaches.

Cubelic and Harper speak at a level aimed at fans who have a conversational level of knowledge, and want to understand more…..like a lot of TF posters, including me.

There are replays going on at 8AM and 9AM, central time, on SECN. Worth a watch.

Il agree, I posted a screenshot of the breakdown in line play where Jam got trucked and Jalen got sacked. After watching some of the breakdown , Latham is by far our best Olineman in my opinion with Tyler Booker next. Seth regressed, or, Seth is the same and the rest of last years effort was so bad , Seth looked good last year🤷🏻‍♂️. This is not to be confused with ‘ the Oline sucked’ ! They played good, but there is much room for improvement. Back on track, the show is great, Cole and Roman play off each othervery well .

CPB used to say that a team makes the most progress from game 1 to game 2 -- I'm hoping that's true especially for our OL.

Yall should watch the college football nerds video about the upcoming texas game. It will make you feel better about the O-line. Middle Tennessee does not run a normal defense. In fact the CFB nerd guys said there is very few teams who run a defense the way they do in terms of the blitz packages and run blitzes. Everything with them is boom or bust. Which is why you saw them make some plays but also saw us disembowel them on big plays.

Now as far as Seth M. skimming the ball down the field. Yeah that needs to stop.

Listening to them this morning. Oatis slimming down to 308 surprised me... I figured we would want to keep him in the 315 range. I know they want to slide him over to the left and let Keenan be in the middle. Then again, I am not well versed in how big D-lineman are supposed to be.
