My father-in-law passed away in 2005. His second wife was about 25 years younger. A year and a half after his death, she had begun dating and got re-married. I am curious how he feels about his wife having her late husband's high school football number tattooed on her left foot. The number "32" covers the entire top of the foot.

Either those were photo shopped or the people were branded. People wouldn't do that to themselves on purpose. Would they?
You mean you were never a big enough fan of "The Price Is Right" to have Bob Barker permanently etched on your arm? :conf2:

Saw a biker chick in the store a few months ago...she was mid-50's or early 60's, hard to tell, but she definitely looked as if she had been rode hard and put up wet for years.
Anyway, I couldn't help notice this weird tat on her upper right bicep...was wondering why anyone would have a tat of what looked like the Rocky Mountain skyline....then I realized it was an older tat of barbed wire...:eek2:

I have seen where brave women who endured breast cancer and had radical breast surgery used tatoos to cover the scars and their breastless chests to improve their body image. I've seen some beautiful murels on the internet on these women, and it makes them feel better.

Now it's becoming a trend to have medical information tatooed on you...i.e., Diabetes, DNRs, etc., in lieu of bracelets, but medical professionals, especially emergency personnel are not trained to look for the tatoos. I'm sure training is coming down the pike for that eduation.

Anyone who tells you they don't hurt is a liar. I have two of them and regret neither....the Script A and a fleur de lis. But those sons 'o guns hurt. And for that reason alone, I am done with the tats.

Nice post. I think I will put your user name on a tattoo on my body if you have no objections? Just where is the only thing I have not decided on:)
