RECIPE: My Bloody Mary

Bayou's previous recipe (Poached Eggs) got me thinking about this as I like to have one or two of these with poached eggs on English muffins for Saturday
Gameday Brunch.


INGREDIENTS:

Absolute or Stoli Vodka
Campbell's Tomato Juice
V-8 Vegetable Juice
Lea & Perrine's Worcestershire Sauce
A-1 Steak Sauce
Louisiana Hot Sauce
Horseradish
Lemon Pepper Seasoning
Celery Salt
Cavender's Greek Seasoning
Ice


Yea I know that seems like a lot of ingredients, but if you like Bloody Marys I promise you this one has no equal. 2 shots of vodka. 2.5 or 3 shots EACH of Tomato and V-8 juice. I like em stronger so I go with 2.5. 4 or 5 splashes of Worcestershire. One small spoon of A-1, it MAKES this drink extraordinary. Catch-22 bartender showed me that trick. As much of your favorite hot sauce as you like and one quarter spoon horseradish. Add a couple dashes of the 3 seasonings. Shake VERY well and serve over ice. Garnish with 1 pepperoncine pepper and 1 pickled okra. If friends are coming over I will add a wooden skewer of 3 or 4 boiled shrimp. This recipe has gotten people who didn't care for Blood Marys hooked on them. Please try!

Dr. I do like the sound of your mixture. Would you suggest mixing a large quanity of the mix if entertaining larger crowds. Not that I have many friends but with this concoction I could become more popular. :smile:

Absolutely TRIV. I keep several large jugs and pitchers for this very thing. Just remember to shake vigorously before pouring. It also seems to taste better a few days later, kinda like homemade vegetable soup is ALWAYS better the 2nd and 3rd day. All the flavors seem to come together as one. I hope you will like it!
