I have no idea what the tie-ins are anymore but 9-3 Bama vs 10-2 Miami would have looked great on paper.

I think we may have been passed over for the Citrus Bowl because their was a greater fear of opt-outs vs. Illinois while with Michigan there may be more of an incentive for our guys to play. I think that was the logic anyway. Whether it turns out that way remains to be seen.

They could have matched us with 10-2 Miami in the Gator Bowl.

That's a much more interesting looking matchup.

We shouldn't have gotten passed by other SEC teams below us.
