I loved reading this! This game was the first program we recorded on our brand new VCR. Still have it converted to dvd. Also have a Daniel Moore preliminary pencil print of “The Kick.”

I’m sure you remember the guys that would setup at Legion Field and sell the “I was there” bumper stickers back in that era. They always had a little saying with the score. They wanted to get a jump on things and started printing before that final drive and the kick. I still laugh when I think about walking by them and seeing all the ones that were printed before the game was over lying on the ground . What a game it was for sure. Thanks Selma.
