Saban warned the 49ers that RF could be successful under certain conditions. Absent those, it's a crapshoot.
There is simply no understating the pull of one's upbringing. And before anyone thinks I'm talking about inner city culture, I just finished Hillbilly Elegy and also learned about a former student who died of an overdose. This is a struggle for so many Americans of varying backgrounds, but ultimately it's up to the individual to walk away.

Yeah, so far neither of those guys are making me proud that we attended the same university. I hope they both get things figured out.

This one is bad if true. With the me to movement to be accused you are guilty now. He won't catch any slack in todays climate nor should he if guilty.

I worry about that too. He's too high of a pick for them give up on him I think...but he's definitely going to be out a significant number of games one way or another.

Two arrest this year is not a good sign.
Some guys have problems when there is no one there to say
Don't Do It.
It looks like he is playing fast and loose with his football future.
It requires a level of maturity to make your own rules,
and not yield to temptation.
I hate it for him, but he's doing it to himself.

I`ve about decided that when you move some of these guys outside of a structured environment and system such as you have with CNS and his program ( and others as well ) and give them lots of money, they simply do not have the underpinnings ( AKA upbringing ) to handle it. How you were raised impacts you all the days of your life.
