RIP Bama Zack

I'm not sure if he ever posted on this forum or not but I'm sure many folks that do post here that live in north Alabama knew of Bama Zack. I saw on a local tv website last night that he recently passed away due to covid. A scholarship fund is being set up in his memory. RIP Bama Zack and Roll Tide Roll!!!!

I met him once, around 2009, at what I believe was a joint TI/BamaMag dinner at Greenbrier BBQ in Madison. Seemed like a genuinely nice guy.

I've been to a few of those gatherings and I'm pretty sure he was at most, if not all, of the ones that I attended.

He was a great man! He will truly be missed.

Knew Zach personally. He was an assistant on my Son's football team for several years. We weren't close but I can tell you in my interactions and conversations with the man he was as genuine a human being as you'll ever find and I consider it an honor and privilege to have known him. If there ever was a "TRIED & TRUE Bama Fan" Zach was at the top of the list.

RIP Zach. Roll Tide.
