I hate that there were three deaths, regardless of the circumstances. I posted this because Crimson Tide was one of my favorite submarine movies, and I also loved Gene Hackman in Behind Enemy Lines. And Enemy of the State. And other movies.

Watching "Mississippi Burning" tonight for the first time since I saw in theaters some 37 years ago.

Hackman was awesome, as usual, but man, this story is tough to watch. That this is (loosely) based on a true story shows how horrible some of our recent past was.

I have lost track of how many times I have watched Hoosiers. Gene Hackman (Norman Dale) and Dennis Hopper (Shooter) and the Swinging Gate play. One of my all time favorites. Great story that shows no individual player is more important than the team, something that never changes.

FTR, I'm a movie buff, so picking an all-time favorite is impossible - but if I had to settle on one, it would likely be 'Unforgiven'. Hackman was great in that one (as always).
