It is being reported on another site that former Bama player Hardy Walker passed away today from a heart attack.

Hardy Walker, A true Bama man. A top recruit back in the day. Almost certain that he never took a visit to anywhere but Bama. Played for coach Bryant and Coach Perkins. Husband and father of 3.

Now another testament to the legacy of coach Bryant. Of all of the worries the family may have it will not be paying for college for the kids. Due to coach Bryant's foresight, Hardy's children will have their education paid for.
