You cannot rehabilitate a monster, whether the monster is born that way or made that way. I've had more than enough juvenile cases arise because either parents are molesting their children or the children are molesting each other. In all cases, it was generational and porn was a major catalyst. I've litigated cases through DHR dependency and through delinquency (rape, incest, etc.) and NONE of my clients, after completing the statutory requirement of a year long sexual offender program through Alabama Department of Youth Services, has stopped sexually assaulting children. I am currently involved in a case with a mother who was sexually assaulted as a child, in and out of foster care, trafficked and sold for drugs and she has done the exact same thing her 4 children under the age of 8 that her mother did to her. It's part of what we have discovered is a state wide ring of human trafficking of children for child pornography and sex. It is at a level of disgust that is unfathomable. Even as a defense attorney, I can say with 100% certainty that there is a death penalty in this state for a reason and it should be the only option for child predators.
