I am assuming our people would fly to Louisville if they were going there. Who knows, I hear the scenery is nice this time of year.

I believe that is incorrect. Saban and Spurrier have the same agent (Jimmy Sexton) and Petrino has the same agent as......Shula (Russ Coleman)!

Scott Moore used to host sports 101 with with Doug Bell its under the thread titled spurrior on scout. Not sure what he is up to nowadays but he says he's got credible info.

Sorry i thought Jimmy Sexton was Petrino's agent,,,another rumor:conf3:
Either way love to have Petrino!!!

If it's the same Scott Moore I'm thinking of, he also is on the Southern Sports Tonight Show with Scott McKinney. (Based out of Pensacola on 98.1 The Ticket.)

It won't take long before you'll wish you had someone else. Petrino just used Auburn to get more money when his unethical conduct was uncovered. Remember he was at Auburn and it wasn't until he left that they had their best success. He had a full house when he got to Louisville and doesn't even know how to spell "defense".

That's UA's plane, but its being used as a medical flight, most likely for UAB.

Also agree that if they were meeting with Petrino they would fly directly into Louisville.

But also, if Petrino and Shula use the same agent my guess is we'd have to annouce a firing of Shula before he could negotiate a new contract for Petrino - otherwise Shula could sue him for a conflict of interest.

Notwithstanding his tremendous football acumen (at least on the offensive side of the football), I think Petrino would be a poor fit for UA. IMO, he'd jump at the first opportunity to head the league.

The Trustees own the plane but they use it for flights to pick up transplants, organs, etc... UAB is part of the Univ. of Alabama system.
