I think this idea of thinking Kiffin making Sims be a good quarterback is overblown. Like I said earlier… Kiffin actually recruited Sims and wanted him at Tennessee before bolting to USC. Sims was the type of player he wanted to run his offense. Where kiffin actually struggled was with Coker and Hurts. Coker and Kiffin butted heads alot but the reason it worked in the end was because 1) Derrick Henry and 2) Coker could actually read a field. Jalen Hurts under Kiffin was a bumpy ride that was mostly covered up by the defense. At conforming to the player? On the contrary, he taught Blake to run his offense. It's the offense Saban hired him to install. He did not conform to Blake Sims. He put some runs in there for him because of his speed, but it was his offense.
Point is that Kiffin thrives with a guy that can run his system and is average when he has to force a guy to run his system. I think Milroe under Kiffin would be a colossal train wreck that probably sees us lose 4-5 games in 23-24.
