  • Hi Guest, we are working on updating the site servers and software. We're also 'forcing' everyone to read and agree to our site privacy policy and terms of service. There are no significant changes to either of these but the terms page does clarify a few things that are mostly in the legalese. You can just click the checkbox for both and continue using the site as usual! We'll update you more on the site upgrades VERY soon! THANK YOU AS ALWAYS for supporting the site and being an active participant!

SEC Preview and Predictions: SECCG
by Jess Nicholas, TideFans.com Editor-In-Chief

The Predictions Dept. saved some of its best for last, going 9-1 on Rivalry Week, missing only the Clemson-South Carolina result. This week, it’s the SEC Championship Game, although in light of the new playoff structure, there is a question as to how important this game really still is, or at least how interesting it might be.

Last Week’s Record: 9-1 (90.0%)
Season Record: 99-29 (77.3%)

Thanks for all the work putting these together for us this past season, Jess. I always look forward to reading your keen insights and commentary.

The Predictions Department has much to be proud of with their record this year, given how crazy it was!

Best to you and yours for the holidays.

I agree with that pick. The game is in Atlanta and after that 8 OT game with GT I'm sure Georgia wants to show that game was a fluke and is probably eager to reestablish some dominance.

Thanks, Jess.
QB’s for each team will determine who wins… each have been prone to throw interceptions a lot. Whichever team has the most turnovers will lose . I’ll be rooting for UGA to make our SOS look even better.
