I think our fortunes are tied to Petty's health. I didn't get to see they Missouri game, but I have to wonder how good he is (physically) after seeing that box score.

Tenn has been playing better ball so it won't be cakewalk. If the team shows up that beat the Barn the first time around I think we could beat both ... if the team shows up that just played Mizzou, we will get mollyhopped and mollywhopped lol

You could tell his shot was off and he didn’t have confidence in that, but other than that his effort was good. We definitely need his shot back for the tourney

Beat is right. The injury has mostly affected his shot, not his overall effort. I think his elbow hurt every time he took a shot...

I agree. He probably shouldn’t have been playing TBH, but I imagine the staff wanted to get him back up to game speed, and his first game back not be in the first round of the SECT.

Figured it was just a matter of time. Thought it would be the case when sports overseas started doing the same a few weeks ago. I think the sec would have held out if the NCAA didn't announce the same this week

Dang, I hate to see this. Now I have to feel bad for my son-in-law. He has tickets to the Final Four this year. He's a Michigan State grad and bought tickets hoping that State would be in Atlanta. When State opened the season as #1 it seemed they would have a really decent shot of making the finals, if not winning it outright.

Also, I have friends (of the barn variety) that drove to Nashville today to take in the tourney. I hope they went to tonight's session.
