I figured UT is trying to get away from Baylor -- they are only 5-6 over the last 11 years against one of the historically weaker D1 teams...
Also why it might be best, in distinguishing them from the Toxvillians (UcheaT), to refer to the teasipping newcomers who don't matter much on the CFB landscape and haven't for 50 years, as UmooT.
There goes the neighborhood...and just when property values were at an all time high!

Everything the uninitiated need to know about UTx......Texas is Georgia with uglier uniforms and bigger mouths, which seems impossible.
georgia is always loaded with big time talent and has been for a long time.I agree with all but the statement about Texas having more resources...Georgia is the "only dog" in a state that produces tons of high caliber players every year. Yes, they are poached off by others...but UGA ought to be picking who they want in their home state. They have no financial limitations...none.
You are correct that they have played in a tougher conference...and imho that has made them stronger, not weaker.
It has been their year for 41 years and counting.georgia is always loaded with big time talent and has been for a long time.
you can compare that with their record and draw your own conclusions![]()
At least they have some players they can interview for $$$.Texags forum is amazing right now.
Destroy both. Let God sort'em out.So as a forum, where do we stand on the rivalry of aggy vs tu?

Welcome OUGuy. As you transition to the SEC, you’ll need to learn some new “words.” See above……this was gonna happen irregardless at some point.
Those 3 loses in the Coach Bryant era are tough. We should have won each game and likely did win the '65 Orange Bowl. Instant replay probably gives Namath the TD near the end of the game. But even the two Cotton Bowls, I think we led late.Given that there has only been one game in the last 40 years, there's not really much tradition...
