up until yesterday, or maybe even today, he probably thought that capitol police report gave him cover.
A friend of mine who is a cop said that the USCP report itself is a joke--it claims that the visitors didn't do anything suspicious despite the video showing them taking pictures of entrances, exits, and stairwells--all of which are the definition of red flag behavior.
To be fair, she probably can't read a calendar.
They do need to get her testimony and spend time in the hearings revealing the info. She's in it up to her eyeballs and I'd love to know just how much Clarence knew and when he knew it.

Maybe some, but for others I have very serious doubts. Quite frankly, if they haven't gotten it by now then I don't know that they ever will.
I saw a video that verified that tonight. It was Trump at a campaign speech with a number of 18-20 year old's with MAGA hats seated behind cheering him on.
It could only be ignorance that would allow young people with their life in front of them and seniors who rely on SS and Medicare benefits gained through a lifetime of work. To risk their way of life by supporting a group of individuals who have a completely different set objectives that do not include them at all.
To allow racism, jealousy or resentment of others to prompt one to conclude that they would fare better in an autocracy is the most insane act. It is incomprehensible.

Face it. What was written here days ago was true - a frighteningly large slice of our population would happily accept a dictator with whom they agreed and who would oppress and suppress those who believe differently. It's taken me a long time to come around to this view, but I now accept it...
