No decision yet on Tebow's return.

Now I'm certain that Meyer is playing games with LSU's defensive brain trust.

Where is the "I don't think there's any reason he should not play but he probably won't play because football has changed in the new millenium" button?

I remember concussions. At least, I remember ammonia capsules. That's all I ever got. :mad2:

Come to think of it no one values my opinion any more. :rolleye2:

If you see me in traffic please guide me to the side of the road.

I only think he should play if everything is ok, and he is completly cleared by docs. to play. And should be watched closely for any ill effects. And that goes for any player, not just Tebow.

RTR:biga2:

They just said in cfl that he was still unable to read. Thats just too risky I love football but it is still just a game.

If he still can't read, he'd be crazy to play. My husband spent several months out of work from a concussion that wasn't as bad as Tebow's concussion. They are no joke. I agree with someone who said earlier that you don't realize how bad it is until one day you come out of the "fog". I watched that happen with my husband. I would do everything in my power to talk him out of playing if I was Tebow's parents.

i'm sure that if he doesn't play that he will make a rousing half-time speech that will be forever enshrined in gold at the swamp. the he will make his triumphant return under center and vow to lead the team into the history books. or something like that.

he already used varsity blues, wonder what movie is next???????

Maybe Remember the Titans!

I know what you mean. I've had so many blows to the head, my people wonder if I'll ever come out of the fog.

"But MOMMA.... THAT'S WHERE THE FUN IS!!!!"

Demps would scare me back there with his speed.

Haden was discussed being used this way earlier in the season, so it could be him. With or without Tebow ya'll have a serious rushing attack to deal with, but if LSU brings their A+ game I think ya'll win a close one.

it's now what, less than 72 hours to kickoff and meyer is still saying it's a gametime decision? if they don't know by now, he should not be playing. if he goes in not fully recovered and gets pounded, it could cause permanent damage jeopardizing not only his football career, but the quality of the rest of his entire life. they're going to have to play every game after this season forever without him. it's not worth the risk to preserve a perfect record and/or shot at another national title. but meyer is all about meyer.

I don't know why I'm giving Meyer this much credit, but I really think he is smarter than to play Tebow against LSU. Surely he knows the risks and how much they outweigh the rewards.

I still just believe that he's playing mind games with LSU and Chavis, trying to keep them on their toes. We'll see Saturday...

It's not changing things a lot. Chavis has had to prepare for each quarterback since the day Tebow got hurt and will have to do so right up to game time, even if Meyer announced Tebow's status.

Because you never know . . .

LSU, please stomp the gators Saturday. Thank you. :)

But you are not evaluating this correctly. IMHO, Urban is only interested in Urban. If he thinks that he can squeeze one more first down out of Tebow at the cost of Tebow's future, he will do so.

Maybe he will surprise me and not let Tebow play until he is fully recovered. But I very much doubt it.

I just can't quite buy this. I know Urban is all about Urban, but he should know that even if he loses this game, FL is not out of the championship picture. Better to lose without Tebow, and get him healthy for the remainder of the season. Surely he knows this, right??
