- RB's hurt in pass pro

- Grubb didn't help Ty out

- Lots of pass pro busts (obviously)

- Numerous times we've got the numbers on OL blocks and one guy just isn't blocking anybody.

- A few times where Ty was lucky not to have his knee blown out.

- Bunch formations we aren't getting the ball out fast enough

- Ty holding onto the ball just a bit too long

- Says stop using the TE to chip and release....just keep him in to block.

- This guy thinks Auburn was shocked Bama went for it on 4th and 2 and didn't have a good call in...lots of defensive confusion.

- Thinks Horton was the 4th WR on the 4th and 2 play, but Auburn was so confused they were rushing 3 and never got pressure.

- Sloppy game overall....lack of basic fundamentals

- Coleman's fumble....he never tucked the ball tight.

- Brooks, on the muffed punt....had 2 chances to fall on the ball, but he tried to scoop it and the ball went out of bounds.

- Fundamentals disappearing in this era of football

- Bama's snap count....the OG tapping the C....makes it too easy for the defense to time up the snap. Stopped doing that in the 2nd half and went to Ty clapping.

- Why didn't Grubb have Ty just don't the claps for the snap to begin with.

You do watch NFL games on Sundays, right? This is pretty much the norm now. Don't disagree that it gives somewhat of a tipoff to the D-Line but there are nuances to the timing that a team can use to not be totally predictable. Remember the D-Line is looking for a split-second advantage. Literally one step. I asked my son about this who has played Center all his life at a very high level and he confirmed that it doesn't give the D line near the advantage that one would think.

I don't know if anyone else here has seen it but there has been a lot of negative talk about Grubb from Seahawks people recently. Not all of it is concrete but it does make me wonder a bit since some of the criticism is similar to how I have felt about him.

Also, would definitely agree with our RBs failing in pass blocking. It's been horrific all year. We may need a new RB coach or something.

This is the one that bothered me the most and the one I see the most often. We'd have the numbers on the OL and still have a free rusher. I wonder if we have some guys who have the physical ability but simply can't connect it between the ears during games? I'm not saying anyone is "dumb", I'm just saying I've seen this type of stuff ALL SEASON LONG, where guys are just making obvious mistakes on reads and assignments. You get to a point as a coach where you can coach, coach and coach and there are players who simply can't mentally "get it" during games. We're still making WAAAAY too many fundamental mistakes on the OL for this late in the season.

Always players like that. Think it’s partly bad coaching and also partly on QB for making so many late late late checks. Bad combo of the three.

I think we are making too much of the "guard tap on center."

The center, after getting tapped, usually waits a second or two...sometimes a little more to snap the ball. AU jumped off sides one time, giving us a 1st down by being off sides, trying to guess the timing of the snap. It doesn't give the defense as much of an advantage as some think, IMO.

The reason they do it is because the center can't hear the QB clap. The guard watches and when Ty claps he taps the center and then he snaps at his discretion.

I know that what I am about to say is going to be controversial, and is probably not a great take since I don't have experience in a college football locker room and the dynamics that exist in one. I'm also have no football coaching experience.

With that said, I don't know that Ty gives us the best opportunity to win Saturday. I said it during and immediately after the game Saturday night that we should consider a QB change because he is clearly hurt and is limited. I do think he should start on Saturday, but if he is limited because of injuries, which I believe are to his back, then I think he should be on a short leash.

We need Ty as healthy as he can be for the playoffs because I know that he's our best QB when he's healthy. How healthy he can be come playoff time is unknown. So much of our offense is predicated on an efficient passing game, and Ty just can't make great throws right now over 15 yards. With a limited running game and now limited passing game, our offense is trying to thread a needle in generating enough offense to win.
